Hello Everyone, My name is Jason and I have a passion for technology, networking, photography in Vancouver, BC. I started learning the art of photography when I was 13 with my dad's SLR (Canon F1). Yes, that's a film camera with manual lenses. I eventually became the lead photographer for my high school yearbook capturing moments and events. It was nice to have access to a real darkroom developing my own film and producing black &amp; white photos. I didn't jump into the digital transition right away as it was very expensive and I was a student. Eventually, I got my first DSLR (Canon 40D with kit lens) in 2008 and started with some landscape photography. Also, I would ask friends to pose for me to practice on. I am thankful to have some nice friends to help me out. Now, I am still learning about photography. There's always something new to try and different styles to learn.I enjoy networking and by that, I mean home networking (from the planning stages, to procurement, and to getting hands-on with the physical connections). I like the challenge of planning a home network. I am a huge believer of have a NAS (Network Access Storage). I have over 80,000 photos/videos that I can access anytime and almost anywhere. In order to do that, I must have a robust home network. I have tons of experience from managing my own network, family networks, and friends networks. I even found solutions for remote camera access to monitor properties. It's something I want to learn more about.We live in a digitally connected world. There's always something new in the tech world. I enjoy playing with new hardware like Raspberry Pi 4B, Mac/PC/Linux computers/laptops, mobile gadgets, etc. I hope to have an unboxing/review channel someday.I feel that I can relate to most people through their challenges with tech. There's a high chance that what you're encountering is a something I've encountered before. But I do not have the answer to everything. I do know where to guide you to get you onto the right path. Someone best described me as the "tech translator".
